KXBT series of Mine Explosion Proof Variable Frequency Speed Control Devices is applicable to the underground coal mining conditions with explosive gases for the use of conducting variable frequency & speed control in the power with voltage of 50Hz and 1140 or 660V respectively. It’s widely used for speed controlling of belt conveyor, AFC, stage loader, pump station, fans, and water pump.

For constant pressure emulsion supply system for supports, the Mine Explosion Proof Variable Frequency Speed Control Devices maintain a constant pressure emulsion supply system. It will control the acceleration and deceleration of the motor based on pressure gap between set pressure and the actual pressure. When the system injects emulsion, that is, actual system pressure is below the set pressure, the device controls the motor to accelerate to ensure sufficient pressure. Motor slows down gradually to maintain a constant pressure when actual pressure is approaching the set pressure. It will automatically control and reduce motor speed to certain value once actual pressure exceeds the set pressure. If no injection for a long time, the control device will stop working and shutdown motor. Once injection, the device will work immediately. If case of any fault, the device can switch automatically to work frequency to ensure normal production, achieving unattended intelligent pump

■This system adopts advanced vector-control technique on Variable-frequency Converter to control motor torque and speed, and determine acceleration and deceleration of the motor based on comparison of actual pressure to set pressure.

When the system injects emulsion, motor accelerates to ensure sufficient pressure and emulsion injection. If emulsion injection is no longer required, motor decelerates to maintain a constant pressure.

If no injection for a long time, the control device will stop working and shutdown motor.

Once injection again, the device will work immediately.

If case of any fault, the device can switch automatically to work frequency to ensure normal production.

■Powerful Functions (classified into type I and type II)

Type I: Automatic constant control, open-door/gas/leakage locking, over voltage/current protection and 3-phase unbalance protection;

Type II: on the protection basis of type I, the protection of water pressure/level/temperature, oil level/temperature/pressure of pump station and auto proportioning of emulsion concentration.

■Energy Saving:

The energy consumption of motor relates to its rotation speed. Especially when on emulsion injection, the motor will stop, with energy saving up to 30% -50%. Each year, tens of thousands RMB of electricity can be saved. Meanwhile, the mechanical wear of the pump station can be reduced accordingly and the service life of pump station will double.
